Since its establishment in 1900 as Korea’s first modern training center for public officials, the Korea Post Officials Training Institute has been one of the best officials training agencies in Korea, with its 119 years of history. We have been providing high-quality education and training programs to over 43,000 postal employees nationwide who are committed to the provision of best-quality postal, savings, and insurance services.
As a strategic partner institute for Korea Post, we have been developing job competence models for each seniority level and duty, and devising training programs focusing on core competence to nurture talents of integrity and creativity, supporting Korea Post to become the nation’s top-tier government institute. By customizing our programs to the needs of the field, we also take a proactive approach in response to rapidly-changing business circumstances and training conditions.
In addition, we opened our training courses and infrastructure to the public and officials of other governmental bodies, including our in-house education courses and e-learning programs. We also endeavor to offer various learning opportunities and cultural events to local residents and socially-disadvantaged groups, pursuing the values of openness, sharing, and cooperation.
With ceaseless innovations and advancements, we the KPHI will keep doing our utmost to cultivate future talents in the postal sector with public trust.
